EAMA – Euro American Musics

America has long been considered an outlier when it comes to popular music. Countries like Britain and France have even taken note of American influences in their musical traditions.

European settlers brought religious, folk, and art (informally classical) music with them when they immigrated to America; eventually this hybridization resulted in this online collection highlighting it.

EAMA

EAMA stands for Euro American Musics, an organization which provides technical services to the real estate industry such as electrical, plumbing and mechanical work as well as property management solutions to its clients. Their headquarters is in Houston Texas but their nationwide operations extend well beyond these borders.

EAMA Board developed a new learning objectives catalogue in response to student evaluation reports and changing demands for geriatricians (see table below). Kern’s six step development method was followed, with board members reaching consensus during focus groups as well as final feedbacks from network members reflecting its comprehensive nature (internal consistency).

At the outset, needs assessments were performed using Kirkpatrick’s evaluation criteria [1], as well as by unstructured interviews with expert teachers at EAMA who shared their reflections, which were then translated into overarching domains for future learning objectives.

EAMA board members independently evaluated and transcribed feedback data into learning objectives using Miller’s pyramid of competence as a template, clustering domains detected into clusters to form learning objectives (LOs) catalogue presented herein.

The list of 24 learning objectives encompasses all necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for leadership roles in geriatric medicine. Open rating results indicated over 90% agreement for all of these objectives. EAMA’s current educational programme built around its new Learning Objectives catalogue and training environment is well equipped to face these challenges. Learning objectives focused on skills development for older people at all levels of public health care are mostly set forth. Three learning objectives were additionally dedicated to innovation and research activities within geriatric medicine. Two remaining learning objectives focus on attitudes and support for advocacy and lobbying to enhance quality geriatric healthcare services. EAMA network can rely on a new generation of leaders to contribute the necessary societal input in order to enhance quality of life among older Europeans.
